Montana Skatepark Association
November 13, 2008
A lot has changed since the first meeting of the "Missoula Skatepark Association" (MSA) in early 2000. We got organized, built this website, held fundraisers, rounded up over 0,000, built a world-class skatepark in the middle of downtown Missoula, MT and even got Tony Hawk to come help us break it in. The park continues to get rave reviews and we're extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish.
So...in 2007, after the MSA founders "caught their breath" they reconvened and decided that the Association should live on and apply what had been learned to help other Montana communities. The MSA then added some new board members, built a new website, officially changed its name to the "Montana Skatepark Association" and began applying for funding to help create our own grant programs.

This website (missoulaskatepark.org) remains live as a resource to help other communities but is no longer actively updated.
