PARK IS OPEN! Remember, Helmets are Required!

As most of you already know....MOBASH, Missoula's BRAND NEW Skatepark is now open. The park is not 100% complete, as some landscaping will continue into the Fall and we still have the Brick Banks to complete next Spring (2007). Regardless...the park is open to the public from 7AM - 11PM - Daily.
Now that the park IS open...we'd like to remind everyone that HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. We've been notified by the City and City Police that random police and security visits are beginning immediately and that the mandatory tickets will be issued to anyone not wearing a helmet. We'd hate to see a bunch of people getting $25 tickets....so grab a helmet before you head down to the park.
We realize that many of you would rather not wear helmets while skating, unfortunately this just isn't an option. Part of the Montana State insurance policy on Skatepark coverage (for Missoula) REQUIRES helmet usage. This is set in stone....or rather....concrete.
