Montana Skatepark Association

The Missoula Skatepark (MOBASH) was organized and paid for by a group of volunteers over a period of almost 7 years. The park opened in September, 2006 to a crowd of 10,000 and a guest appearance by legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk.

In 2007 the founding organizers of the "Missoula Skatepark Association" (MSA) restructured and renamed the organization the "Montana Skatepark Association". This name better reflects a new mission to help other Montana communitites build free, public skateparks. Learn all about the new MSA at montanaskatepark.org

This site was built to educate the public about the Missoula Skatepark (MOBASH) project and then used as a hub for fundraising and communication. It is no longer actively updated.
